How many of these can they crank out? So every movie in this series has been produced once a year. The first Saw was the best, very original and entertaining. This installment just seemed to be a gore-fest of moments. I do saw that it is better than Saw 2 but not as good as the original.

Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) is pretty much dead and so his accomplise Amanda (Shawnee Smith) is doing all his deeds. But Amanda isn't quite following the rules laid out by her master. The main focus of the film is a game that a doctor (Bahar Soomekh) must keep Jigsaw alive until another player, Jeff (Angus Macfadyen), finishes his game.

There'll be a number of references and flashbacks to the first two films so I would maybe brush up on your Saw if you want to get the full enjoyment out of this. If you can stomach watching surgery on tv than you can watch this.

Saw 3 gets a 7 out of 10.
