Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

The fifth installment of the Harry Potter series gets darker in every film. With Voldermort back things are getting very uneasy and Harry is beginning to feel the responsibility of being 'The One'. This film followed a pretty uneventful one where nothing really happened until the ending but this installment was full of plot. So much that the 2 hour 18 minute runtime wasn't enough. I've heard a lot of bad reviews about this film but I haven't really been keeping up with the harry potter series and didn't really anticipate this one.

After watching it, I was really surprised. I enjoyed this one and though it still isn't the best one, it wasn't the worst. There's more action in this film than any of the others and I still hold true to the theory that the films are actually better than the book (most of the bad reviews I've seen are from people who love the books). Maybe my imagination isn't as great but I will not read anymore of the books until I've seen all of the films.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix gets a 7 out of 10.
