Ratatouille

The newest film by Pixar is about a rat. I know, not the cutest and most lovable animal but they do know how to make anything cute. The film is set in Paris where a struggling chef teams up with a rat that can cook to try to become one of the best chefs ever. Rats in the kitchen is the last thing that people would want though.

Pixar is getting better and better with their graphics. This film has some of the best graphics I've seen in a cg movie. The city shots are just beautiful. I have to say that I wasn't impressed from the trailers and didnt' really care for the film. This was probably good because I wasn't disappointed. It wasn't the best Pixar film but it wasn't the worst either. The only thing that I had a problem with is the annoying fake french accents. Some parts I couldn't even understand because I was cringing to the voices. I would of been more impressed if they got the french elite actors or hollywood french actors like Jean Reno, Audrey Tautou, Gérard Depardieu, etc. It was a little bit darker than the other films but it was still good.

Ratatouille gets a 7 out of 10.
