Backups

Happy Veterans Day everyone!  or really for the government employees/contractors who have off.  Let this holiday give you a good reminder to back up your files.  Just remember, veterans fought for our country and like data, you don't want to see them gone forever.  Or maybe you do if you were the enemy.  Well here's how you keep all your soldiers data safe and cloned.  You may want to invest in a backup storage device.  These can be anything: CD-Rs, DVD-Rs, flash drives, online storage, external hard drives, network drives, etc.  Don't lose that picture of your roommate in a tutu.

haha, priceless.  So what I have doing is that I have an external drive that is being shared on my network.  From that I'm able to access my files from any computer I'm on.  Then I have my desktop and my server performing backups of that.  Last but not least, I have a WD My passport that has a backup as well.  So I hope that I'm feeling safe.  As we speak, I just realized that I don't have 75% of my pictures from 2006.  But luckily I can dig them up somewhere (i hope).
