Howl's Moving Castle

Ok, movie review time! So the latest Hayao Miyazaki film, Howl's Moving Castle, is the same Miyazaki style. I'm a big fan so basically of course i'm going to like it but it's not his best work. So here's the list of movies I've seen of him and then i'll go into some things about the movie itself. Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds, Kiki's Delivery Service, Grave of the Fireflies, and Spirited Away.

So lets just say that this movie is my second least favorite from the movies I listed above. I don' t know, there were some parts that just were random and some parts that needed to be shown more. I watched a bootleg version of it so there might be a small chance that a part was missing from it. I would definitly like it much more if I watched the OFFICIAL dvd with real subtitles. I do say though that even though it wasn't as good as the others, Nausicaa is still the worst and Howl's Moving Castle is still par.

Some things I might mention from the movie are: Marker is the coolest/cutest thing in the world. How the hell did she get young again? Did I totally miss this? What's up with the dog? Isn't he on the enemy side?

Howl's Moving Castle gets a 7 out of 10.
