I've heard REALLY good things about this movie and me being the horror film junky, this was a no brainer.  Horror films are probably the easiest to make but are the hardest to get right because they aren't everyone's cup of tea.  I have to say that Paranormal Activity is probably one of the best horror films to date. 

There's a difference between thriller and horror.  People get the two mixed up easily and expect one when they really get the other.  This movie is purely horror.  It's not the jump out and try to scare you with every chance you get but the one that stays with you when you're laying in bed at night.

For those that haven't seen it.  A couple starts experience unexplained things in their new house and decide to film it.  They could never imagine what they were able to catch.  There aren't many pop out and scare you moments and the shaky cam moments are a little dizzing.  But you are never bored and you pray to god for the day scenes to come. For those that think that they'll just rent the movie, you may want to reconsider because I can't imagine watching this at home.  it probably would make it even worst.

Paranormal Activity gets a 8 out of 10.
