I saw the second installement of what is a 3 part series of Disney's action packed adventure. I do say that the series has impressed me. At first when I found out that they were making a movie based off of a ride and I saw the trailer for the first movie that was filled with cheesy one liners such as, "You like pain? Try wearing a corset." I must admit that I was skeptical.

The second installment follows the first movie pretty well. Will Turner (played by Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth (played by Keira Knightley) are getting married but just before the wedding they are arrested for helping Captain Jack Sparrow (played by Johnny Depp) escape. I don't want to give anything away so I think I'll just leave it at that. There is a ton of action and dialogue is pretty much the same as the first movie (It's not shakespeare). Depp continues his excellent and almost questionable role as Captain Jack and there is a number of inside jokes from the first movie. It is highly recommended that you watch the first movie before you watch the second. The third film will be released next year with Yun-Fat Chow starring as Captain Sao Feng, I can't wait!

Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest gets a 7 out of 10.
